Voting Opens in the LinkedIn Business Awards
Nominations have now closed for the LinkedIn European Business Awards (www.linkedinbusinessawards.com) and the voting has begun.
The awards website, designed and built by Governor has been highly successful, with several thousand visitors daily and votes for nominees coming in at over 1000 per day in the first week.
LinkedIn (www.linkedin.com) is the world's largest networking website for business professionals. Over 48 million members from 200 countries use the LinkedIn to connect with peers, exchange ideas and expertise and generally expand their business and professional networks.
As part of its on-going promotional activities, in 2009 LinkedIn Europe, in partnership with Cisco Webex (www.webex.co.uk), the leading provider of web conferencing and collaboration software, created a brand new European Business Awards programme. These awards are designed to showcase the achievements of LinkedIn members in a number of business categories.
