John explains how Governor Technology architected the initial Cookie Collector solution in a way that was easy to build and scalable without spending a fortune, using Microsoft's Azure cloud platform.

The deadline for complying with the new cookie law is approaching fast. By May 26th all websites should be complying with the law, or have a plan in place to become compliant. Achieving Cookie Law compliance requires of you as a website owner to know all the cookies (first and third party) being set by your website on your visitis' browsers. After gathering information about which cookies your website contains, before setting them on the browser, you need to ask for 'informed consent'.

Your email is in the cloud (Gmail, Hotmail). You can even do your word documents and excel spread sheets in the cloud (Office 365), and Adobe have recently launched their Photoshop in the cloud service. But what does it all mean?
