Stage on Screen E-commerce
Stage on Screen (www.stageonscreen.com) is a new educational publishing business dedicated to bringing the theatre into the classroom. They put on professional productions of set texts in the school curriculum for English and Drama, record them, and turning these into DVDs packed with additional educational resources.
Governor Technology is delighted to have been chosen as Stage on Screen's software development partner. We built an e-commerce enabled website, launched in November 2009, which is the primary channel for sales and marketing of the company's products.
We have also supplied a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System to manage their sales and marketing communications. The CRM system is based on an Open Source framework platform call SplendidCRM.
As a result of this we are better able to integrate communications between the website and CRM so that customers buying through the site will have their details captured in the CRM - which will then also be used to communicate orders to the fulfilment system operated by a third party who will be responsible for the dispatch of products.
We also provide an email marketing solution for running large (10,000+ recipients) and regular campaigns. This also integrates with the CRM system so that the campaign lists are updated automatically and recipient activity can also be fed back to the CRM records.
