Sopexa UK

Sopexa UK is a dedicated marketing and PR agency for the French food and drink industry, promoting French agribusiness products and interests to UK markets.

They had already been publishing a monthly email newsletter, the French Wines Bulletin sent out to a selection of industry contacts and market influencers.  The content of the newsletter often has to be put together very quickly, and can be subject to last minute changes,  yet it needs to be mailed out before the news gets old or other providers go to market with the story first.

Sopexa UK was unhappy with a lack of responsiveness from their existing supplier and approached Governor Technology in late 2007.

We designed a new HTML template which, along with a structured process for submitting content using MS Word, enabled us to guarantee much quicker turnaround times whilst enabling last minute content changes to be introduced.

We also built an archive site for back issues (http://www.frenchwinesbulletin.co.uk) which acts as a promotional and marketing tool to gain greater online exposure and newsletter circulation.

Our service includes a wide range of reports to instantly record and measure the activity of people receiving the emails, and this data can be used to gauge interest levels in different news items, as well as the appeal of the newsletter to various segmented recipient groups within a larger list.

We produced 10 issues of the French Wines Bulletin in 2008 and, following the success of the first issues, we were awarded a second contract by Sopexa UK to distribute another newsletter series for Loire Valley wines throughout 2009.
