Meet the Team
In any professional services business it is the people that make
it all happen. so we are pleased to introduce to you the
senior members of our team. If you choose to do business with
us, these are the people you will most likely be working
with.
John Mannix, Technology Director
John Mannix is Technical Director and founder of Governor
Technology. He started the company in 2001 out of his experience
working as a freelancer. John has a BA and MA from Cambridge
University, where he graduated with First Class Honours in Computer
Science. John leads the technical team and is responsible for
determining Governor's strategy in terms of technologies used,
directing project delivery teams and mentoring staff members. He is
married with 2 daughters and enjoys reading historical novels and
playing jazz guitar.
Gilbert Hill, Business Development Director
Gilbert Hill has been Business Development Director at
Governor Technology since 2003. Prior to that, he spent 7 years
working for Citigroup in a number of marketing and e-business
roles, where he enlisted the services of Governor as a supplier.
Gilbert has a BA and MA from Cambridge University, and is
recognised by the FSA as a qualified Investment Management
Professional. Gilbert is responsible for setting sales and business
strategy, generating business with new clients and managing key
client and supplier relationships. Gilbert is married with 1
daughter, plays bass guitar and enjoys walking holidays.
