Meet the Team

This is us - we look forward to working with you. During discussion of any project, the first people you are likely to meet are Governor's Directors, John and Gilbert:

John Mannix | Technical Director 

 John founded Governor Technology in 2001. He has a BA and MA from Cambridge University, where he graduated with First Class Honours in Computer Science. John leads the technical team and is responsible for determining Governor's strategy in terms of technologies used and directing the project delivery teams.

Gilbert Hill | Business Development Director

Prior to joining Governor in 2003, Gilbert spent seven years working for Citigroup in a number of marketing and e-business roles. He has a BA and MA from Cambridge University. He is responsible for setting sales and business strategy and managing key client and supplier relationships.

Over the last 10 years, John and Gilbert have built-up a team of experienced website and software developers who all share a passion for getting the best out of technology and the web. The company has grown steadily and now has 15 full-time staff at our Waterloo office in London.
