Jockey Club Racecourses

Governor Technology is proud to announce a significant new contract with a long running client, the Jockey Club Racecourses!

We have a long standing relationship with the Jockey Club Racecourses (formerly the Racecourse Holdings Trust) having built a content management system and ticketing system for their original websites 4 years ago. This original project was rolled out across 14 websites (one for each racecourse and an umbrella site) and is still being used to run the ticketing for many of the courses to this day. Following this project we have provided ongoing support for the websites over the last 4 years.

Now, in a move that deepens our relationship, we are providing support and development for their internal applications as well as the websites. This will involve moving their infrastructure to new hosting facilities, upgrading their existing Sharepoint 2003 intranet to MOSS 2007 (Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server) and developing a number of new services for the delivery of real time news and race results to the individual courses.

Future projects will include: integration projects with Microsoft CRM, providing strategic input on the future development of the racecourse websites, and developing central services and specifications to provide a common framework which all courses will adopt.
